Turmoil in S. Carolina as calls mount for Sanford to quit

Sen. Tom Davis, Gov. Mark Sanford's former chief of staff and a close confidant, met with both the governor and First Lady Jenny Sanford about the governor's future. U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint called publicly for Sanford to "do the right thing," and a dozen of the state's Republican state senators signed a letter asking for his resignation. The rising clamor came after Sanford revealed that he'd seen his Argentine lover more often than previously known and had also "crossed lines" with other women.
