Texas' Perry raises secession issue at 'tea party' protest

Texans are fed up with federal tax policies, and might get so fed up that they decide they want to secede from the union, Gov. Rick Perry told reporters Wednesday after he attended an anti-tax tea party rally in Austin. He was quick to point out that he didn't favor secession, but he noted that Texas still has the right to secede under the agreement that made it part of the United States in 1945.
