A second Palin pick for vacant state Senate seat is rejected

For the second time, Democratic state senators have rejected Gov. Sarah Palin's pick to fill a state Senate seat left vacant when a senator took a job with the Obama administration. Palin so far has refused to appoint any of the four people Democrats have recommended, naming her own candidates. Democrats, who can reject Palin's nominee, have so far refused to go along with her.
