Palin calls for new Alaska vote after Stevens case collapses

In the wake of the government's decision to drop its case against former U.S. Sen Ted Stevens, Gov. Sarah Palin and the head of the Alaska Republican Party called on Democratic Sen. Mark Begich to step down, saying voters would have re-elected Stevens had they known the U.S Department of Justice would abandon its prosecution of him.
