Big brother: Politicians using public info to find their targets

Micro-targeting, with its ability to spot likely prospects for a sales pitch, has become the hottest thing in politics these days. That way strategists no longer have to guess whether you'll be receptive to a message: Married couples who use different last names, for example, are more likely to be Democrats. But is that kinds of slicing good for the country?
