Alaska troopers union drops complaint over drug case

An inquiry Monday by officials for the Public Safety Employees Association concluded that a drug investigation of Sherry Johnston wasn't slowed to shield the national candidacy of Gov. Sarah Palin. But the probe did draw an unusual amount of high-level attention, and union officials say they'll meet with top officials about it.
