Palin expensed her children's air travel to the state

Since Palin was named the Republican Party's vice-presidential candidate, she's repeatedly touted her record as budget watchdog by citing the sale of the state's jet and the dismissal of the governor's chef. But her claims to middle-class frugality are undercut by the revelations that she's billed the state thousands of dollars for meal money while staying in her own home and has charged the state for the commercial air travel of her children.
