Here's the story about Palin's book-banning try as mayor

Did the Republican vice-presidential candidate try to ban books from the Wasilla, Alaska, public library? She did ask the town librarian about removing some books from the shelves at a public meeting, which the librarian said she wouldn't do. Days later, Palin sent a letter to the librarian saying she'd be fired. But the librarian wasn't fired and there's no record of books being removed.
