Iraqi forces struggling, forcing U.S. troops to fight

In the two weeks since President Barack Obama declared the end of the U.S. combat mission in Iraq, American forces have stepped in with ground troops and air support on at least three occasions when their Iraqi counterparts were threatened by suicide attackers or well-armed gunmen. The incidents sharped question about the Iraqi forces' ability to protect their country and what role the 50,000 U.S. troops still there will play.
