Good news: Big loser in Iraq elections may have been Iran

The Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, founded in Iran during that country's war with Iraq, has dominated Iraq's political life since U.S.-sponsored elections in 2005. But its candidates lost throughout the country in last weekend's elections, while the party of Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki did well, particularly in Baghdad.
