Amid Iraq's violence, a radio station gives people hope

Sumer FM is Iraq's most popular independent radio station. It broadcasts from a state-of-the-art, brightly decorated studio in Baghdad's Karrada neighborhood, and its signal reaches every corner of the country. It's been the one thing Iraqis could count on, even through the most violent months when people were too frightened to so much as leave their homes.
