Rubio's effort to halt new Cuba flights is grounded for now

Sen. Marco Rubio's effort to block the Obama administration's planned expansion of travel to Cuba has been grounded -- at least for now. The Florida Republican and Democratic New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez had hoped to prevent any new flights from U.S. airports to Cuba following the White House announcement last month to ease travel restrictions to the communist island nation.
