Who's arming Mexican cartels? Maybe your neighbor

In Mexico, it's illegal to buy most types of weapons. Not so in the United States, where drug cartels use their U.S. networks to snap up assault rifles and other weapons from gun shops and shows and bring them back over the border. The trade is a source of friction between the U.S. and Mexican governments and dismissed as a non-issue by the National Rifle Association.
