Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Friday 18 June, 2010

Three mortar rounds slammed into the Baghdad International Airport area, used as a base by the U.S. military, at around 3 p.m. Friday. No casualties were reported by the U.S. military. A car bomb that was parked near the home of a member of the Salahuddin Provincial Council in Tuz Khormatu district, detonated, Friday, killing 18 people and injuring another 22, said operations' centre officials.
