Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Thursday 17 June, 2010

A roadside bomb targeted a U.S. military convoy in Taji district, a northern Baghdad suburb, at 10 a.m. Thursday. No casualties were reported by the U.S. military. Armed men raided a home in Fhailat village, 30 km to the south of Fallujah, and shot dead the father, mother, uncle and three sons, one of them a baby, and seriously injured the four-year-old daughter. The father belonged to a tribe that was vocal about their anti-Qaida views.
