Armed men shot and killed a young Turkoman in his twenties in al Rashidiyah neighbourhood, a mostly Turkoman residential area in north Mosul, Tuesday. The gunmen used weapons fitted with silencers.
The home of Ali Hussein, Sahwa commander of the village of Albu Jeeli in Balad district, was blown up, early Tuesday, killing his two young daughters and injuring his son. The explosive charges were planted around the house and detonated by remote control. Hussein was not at home when the explosion took place.
