India eases investment limits, criticizes U.S. export controls

India Thursday criticized U.S. export controls as it prepares to a further liberalization of foreign investment in India following the signing of a bilateral trade pact in Washington. The pact aims to encourage investment flows between the two countries, whose bilateral trade stood at $37.6 billion last year.
