Good news for U.S.: Pakistan spy chief, set to retire, to stay on

Lt. Gen. Ahmad Shuja Pasha has been an important advocate of both his government's campaign against Islamic extremists in Pakistan and of Pakistan's cooperation with the U.S.-led coalition in neighboring Afghanistan. The unusual decision to have him stay past his retirement date suggests those policies will continue.
