Haiti quake victims stranded as U.S. medical airlift stalls

It remained unclear why the U.S. stopped airlifting Haitians in need of medical care to the United States. Hospitals in Florida denied that they had demanded a guarantee that they'd be paid for treating the quake victims. The Obama administration blamed logistics. Doctors in Haiti said dozens of their patients will die if they can't get to the United States.
