A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi army patrol on the main route between the city of Kirkuk and al Rashad district southwest Kirkuk, Tuesday morning killing two soldiers and injuring four others.
A roadside bomb targeted civilians in Zinjilli neighbourhood, central Mosul, Tuesday injuring two women.
A roadside bomb targeted a checkpoint manned by police in al Boursa neighbourhood, Tuesday, injuring one guard.
A policeman was injured by a roadside bomb which targeted a police patrol in Al-Muhandiseen neighborhood in north Mosul on Tuesday morning.
A suicide bomber on foot, wearing an explosive vest targeted the deputy commander of Sahwa (a U.S. backed militia that was turned over to the Iraqi government) in Diyala, Tuesday evening. Laith Mishaan al Mjama'i was visiting friend's shop in downtown Baquba. The explosion killed eight people including one child and injured eight others.
