Guantanamo judge sets hearing on detainee's torture claims

Attorneys for the detainee, Ahmed Darbi, had sought a delay, hoping to head off any further proceedings under the military commission system established under President Bush. But the chief military judge said the hearing on whether the evidence against Darbi was coerced by abusive interrogation practices was critical to deciding if the case against him should proceed.
