- Around 9 p.m.gunmen threw a grenade on a liquor shop near Kahramana square in Karrada neighborhood in downdown Baghdad on Monday. Four shoppers were wounded.
- Two Sahwa members were killed by a magnetic bomb which was attached to their car in AlBu Hishma village in Balad (south of Tikrit) on Saturday night.
Gunmen in a speeding car shot a civilian and killed him in front of his house in al Hadbaa neighbourhood, eastern Mosul Sunday evening.
Gunmen in a speeding car shot a Turkoman man called Abdulrahman Aziz and killed him near his home in 1st June neighbourhood, central Kirkuk late Sunday.
Gunmen threw a thermal charge at a U.S. military convoy in central Kirkuk, Saturday but the charge did not explode sparing the convoy any damages.
A captain in the police force was kidnapped from al Thirthar area, Saturday. His body was found in the desert around Thirthar Sunday with evidence of torture.
