Guantanamo detainee to go free after Obama-ordered review

Ayman Batarfi, a Yemeni surgeon, was captured in Afghanistan in 2002 and accused of treating al Qaida wounded at Tora Bora. But his lawyers said he was simply a humanitarian worker caught up in fighting. On Monday, the Obama administration agreed, telling a federal judge in Washington that the U.S. would no longer argue for Batarfi's detention and instead would arrange for his release from Guantanamo.
