Pentagon lawyer asks an end to Guantanamo trials now

Col. Peter Masciola urged the official who oversees military commissions at Guantanamo to act before the Pentagon put dozens of witnesses, judges, reporters, and attorneys on a flight to Guantanamo Saturday for hearings scheduled for next week. He noted that Obama, who takes office Tuesday, has vowed to revise the war court.
