Iraqi cabinet approves accord setting U.S. troop withdrawal

Iraq's cabinet on Sunday approved an agreement with the United States that sets a timetable for the nearly complete withdrawal of American forces within three years — a date Iraqi officials said cannot be extended. It also lifts the immunity that U.S. soldiers and contractors have had from Iraqi prosecution. The agreement faces an uncertain future in the Iraqi parliament.
