A roadside bomb exploded near Maysaloon Square, eastern Baghdad at 9 p.m. Saturday injuring two civilians.
An adhesive IED stuck to a car belonging to a member of the Sahwa, the U.S. backed militia exploded as the car was passing through a checkpoint in Adhamiyah injuring six people including three Sahwa members at 10 p.m. Saturday.
A roadside bomb was planted outside the home of the commander of the Sahwa in Furat neighbourhood, western Baghdad at 11 p.m. Saturday. The commander was killed and four civilians were injured.
A parked car bomb targeted civilians near Hassan restaurant in Karrada, central Baghdad at 6.30 p.m. Sunday killing two people including one policeman, injuring six including two policemen.
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol near al-Saa restaurant in Mansour, central Baghdad injuring three people including two policemen.
Two unidentified bodies were found in Baghdad by Iraqi police today; one in Ghadeer and the other in New Baghdad.
Gunmen raided al-Waha printing house in Mosul city Sunday. They opened fire upon three of the workers, one of whom was the manager of the house, injuring all three then torched the building which contained a large number of scientific and cultural publications. The building burned to the ground.
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in the town of Sadiyah, 80 km to the east of Baquba, Sunday killing five policemen, injuring five others.
A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in al-Ameriyah neighbourhood, southern Fallujah killing one civilian, injuring two policemen, one of whom is critical.
