Despite Taliban turmoil, Pakistan expands nuke plants

Pakistan has a number of important military-industrial complexes, including the Gadwal Uranium Enrichment Plant, where the final enrichment of uranium weapons fuel is thought to take place, less than 60 miles south of Buner, where the Pakistani military is battling the Taliban. Meanwhile, the government is completing two nuclear reactors to produce plutonium for weapons just a few miles from areas controlled by the Taliban.
