Grocery chain gives out food to help pets in need

The Bi-Lo grocery store chain is launching a month-long program to get donations of pet food, for distribution to pets of people in need. The "Feed the Love" pet food drive will continue through March 22, with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and several other area organizations as recipients. A similar drive last year netted more than 63,000 pounds of pet food in the Southeast.
