U.S. to delay report on allegations of Chinese currency manipulation

In a surprise announcement, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said Saturday he was delaying for three months a much-anticipated decision on whether to brand China a currency manipulator. Geithner's statement came just two days after Beijing announced that China's president will attend a nuclear security summit meeting in Washington April 12-13. The U.S. needs China's support for U.N.-backed sanctions against Iran.
