Florida avocado growers fear spread of exotic Asian beetle

The redbay ambrosia beetle has been discovered in Florida's Martin County afer sweeping through the Carolinas and Georgia. Smaller than Lincoln's nose on a penny, the beetle carries a fungus that kills trees in the laurel family. There's no cure for the fungus.
