Bank of America, bailout in hand, continues lobbying efforts

Bank of America, the recipient of $45 billion in taxpayer bailout money, has spent more than $1.5 million lobbying on Capitol Hill on more than two dozen pieces of legislation, from restrictions on executive pay and credit card fees to the creation of a federal regulatory agency to oversee consumer credit.
