More BP oil spill fallout: Seaside fireworks displays cut back

Add fireworks to the list of seaside pleasures tarred by the Gulf Coast's oil crisis. Fourth of July shows have been canceled across the region, some because of budget woes, others out of fear a stray ember could ignite oily waters. The biggest complication: Barges used to launch fireworks have found more lucrative work offshore.
