Life aboard the drilling rig that's the Gulf's last hope

The men who spend weeks at a time aboard deep water rigs are accustomed to drilling in relative solitude far out in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. But not these days: Smoke billows and bursts of orange flames unfurl on the horizon, byproducts of the surface fight to stop the runaway Deepwater Horizon well.
