Obama's stimulus has yet to measure up to the New Deal

More than 75 years after the Great Depression, there are signs everywhere of the response to it: Roads, bridges, schools, dams and other public projects that are the hallmarks of President Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal. However similar President Barack Obama's response to today's Great Recession may be, it doesn't measure up to the size, scope and ingenuity of the New Deal.
