Alaska, facing high local oil and gas costs, looks to new plans

Alaskan villagers face high heating oil and gasoline prices. Alaskan Federation of Natives leaders have told state lawmakers they support a state energy bill that would, among other things, require schools and other public buildings are built to energy-efficiency standards and establish renewable energy tax credits.
