Volcano monitoring: Redoubt sends more ash into Alaska sky

The active volcano, one of four in the Cook Inlet area, is about 100 miles southwest of Anchorage and directly across the Inlet from Kenai, situated in a location where it can disrupt flights to and from Anchorage when belching ash. It erupted three times Friday night, disrupting air travel.
