How bad is it? NBC hasn't sold all its Super Bowl ad spots

With the Super Bowl just a week away, NBC still hasn't sold some of the 67 advertising slots available and several notable previous advertisers will be missing, including General Motors and FedEx. Working against NBC since Labor Day, fears that paying $3 million for a 30-second ad will look extravagant to employees and stock holders when companies are cutting jobs and dividends.
