Life's sweet for Alaskan at center of corruption probes

Bill Allen pleaded guilty to bribery and conspiracy charges in May of 2007. The two Alaska state legislators he bribed are broke and behind bars, and two others are preparing expensive criminal defenses. U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens faces criminal charges over Allen's alleged gifts. So what has Allen, the source of all that trouble, been up to? Well, he's been trying to figure out ways to spend all that money he and his family made from the $146 million sale of the oil services company at the heart of the Alaska corruption probes.
