Yes, the same Hanna, quintessential running purist, who is a two-time national 100-kilometer champion, who qualified for the 1996 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials and who is a prominent Sacramento race director.
And he's kind of sheepish about admitting it, too, falling back on the old double-negative language.
"I'm not going to say I haven't," Hanna, 43, says.
