Palin often criticized by Alaska Natives as unresponsive

Native leaders say there's a growing sense of friction and neglect in their relations with the Palin administration. "She's just sort of absent on issues. It's like an indifference," said the co-chairman of the Alaska Federation of Natives. He said Palin's much-touted ties to Native culture through her husband's family have resulted in "no measurable impact."
