Porch bandits never cease to amaze. The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is searching for a woman who snatched several packages from the same porch in El Dorado Hills, California. The video shows the woman grabbing boxes from a porch twice within an hour. For reasons which aren't apparent, she's wearing a coat and bra, but no shirt during her initial theft. Later, she ditches the coat and is seen wearing just her bra and pants. The weather that day was breezy and a cool 60 degrees.
Nikolas Cruz appears in open court for the first time on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, during a status hearing before Broward Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer. Cruz is facing 17 charges of premeditated murder in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
This interaction between Bates Technical College President Ron Langrell and a college employee prompted an investigation into Langrell's behavior that resulted in him being placed on administrative leave earlier this year. The video was captured by the school's security cameras.
After searching campus for more than an hour, authorities said they found no victims or evidence of an active shooter. Kent police said there was a “large police presence” around the campus and asked people to avoid the area.
According to a Pierce County Sheriff’s Facebook post, three suspects forced their way through a gate into the Rainier Asphalt & Concrete yard on Portland Avenue, then prowled several work trucks. The suspects then used a sledgehammer to break through a door into a garage; the three suspects entered the garage and stole trimmers, blowers, and a pressure washer. The first suspect was wearing a Seahawks jersey (on Super Bowl Sunday... isn't it bad enough that we didn't make the playoffs!?!)
Moberly Police Department in Missouri had an unexpected visitor on Valentine’s Day, as CCTV footage shared to their Facebook page on February 14 shows. The clip features somebody dressed up as a T-Rex entering the police station, carrying what appears to be a box of cookies. He walks up and down the hall, before going to the front desk and delivering the cookies. “Today the Moberly Police Department turned into Jurassic Park when we were met by a T-Rex delivering cookies. Whoever you are, thank you for the cookies and the laughs,” the department captioned the video.
Ben Bennight of D’Iberville contacted the FBI about a comment on one of his YouTube videos in September. That comment was made by someone with the same name as the man accused in the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Florida. Bennight, a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment, said “evil people will do evil things,” and guns are not to blame.
