Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Tuesday 3 November 2009

The daily Iraqi violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It’s posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy’s Washington Bureau.
Baghdad
Two civilians were wounded by a roadside bomb which targeted in Al-Nidhal Street in downtown Baghdad around 3 p.m.
Around 10 p.m. five mortar shells hit Baghdad airport in west Baghdad. No casualties were reported.
Anbar
Two policemen were killed and three others were wounded when a roadside detonated targeting their vehicle in Al-Zaghareed area in north Baquba around 10 a.m.
Nineveh
A civilian was killed and two others were wounded by a roadside bomb that targeted a police patrol in Eyadhiyah area in west Mosul on Tuesday evening.
Gunmen opened fire upon a Judge near his house in Al-Muharibeen area in east Mosul on Tuesday afternoon. The judge was wounded.
Two civilians were wounded when mortar shells hit Prophet Younis area in downtown Mosul city on Tuesday afternoon
