The daily Iraqi violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It’s posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy’s Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

Seven people were killed and 20 others were injured when two IEDs detonated inside a market place in Sadr city northeast Baghdad around 7 a.m.

Five people were wounded including two guards of the governor of the Iraq Central Bank Sinan alShibibi when a roadside bomb detonated targeting the convoy of Shibibi in Karrada neighborhood in downtown Baghdad around 9 a.m.

Two civilians were wounded by an adhesive bomb that was stuck to a civilian car in Saidiyah neighborhood in south Baghdad around 11 a.m.

Four civilians were wounded by a bicycle bomb in Saidiyah neighborhood in south Baghdad around 11 a.m.

Nine peole were killed and 35 others were wounded by two IEDs in Kasra neighborhood in northeast Baghdad around 7:30 p.m.

Nineveh

At least 35 people were killed and 65 others were wounded when two suicide bombers blew up themselves in alQal'aa neighborhood in Tal Afar tow northwest of Mosul city around 7. The first bomber detonated targeting a policeman. When people gathered, the second bomber blew up himself among crowds.

Anbar

A suicide car bomb targeted a police force in the eastern entrance of Ramadi City at 4 p.m. Thursday, injuring four policemen.
