If Biden and Palin need debate advice, these voters have it

Republican Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska and Democratic U.S. Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware take the stage in tonight's vice-presidential debate loaded with expectations and the advice of countless S.C. supporters.
Some are offering stern warnings. Others say they simply will have their fingers crossed.
Biden is the experienced, 30-year Senate veteran steeped in foreign policy knowledge but suffering from a tendency to speak before he thinks.
Palin runs the nation's 49th state and has injected the GOP ticket with a dose of vim and enthusiasm. But her words have raised questions about her qualifications.
Biden, the pundits say, must not be too aggressive. Wilhelmina Rhoe, a Democrat who supports the Barack Obama-Biden ticket, disagrees.
"I don't think Biden has to do anything different tonight than he would against anybody else," Rhoe said.
"Biden is going to be Biden. He should come out and not soften his rhetoric at all because of her gender. Palin is a talker, but she don’t have much substance," the 71-year-old Anderson resident said.
