Obama vows support for Israel in search for Jewish support

BOCA RATON, Fla. — More than 700 Jewish voters came to a conservative synagogue in Boca Raton Thursday to see Barack Obama, many with yarmulkes on their heads and questions on their minds.
Does he support Israel's right to self-defense? Would he negotiate with Hamas? Would he talk to the president of Iran?
The Democratic presidential candidate listened and responded (the answers were yes, no and yes) even to the man who rambled on for a while and asked if he had friends who were Jewish and "anti-terrorist."
