This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

- Around 11 a.m. a suicide bomber detonated his car bomb near buses in Kadhemiyah neighborhood killing 24 and injuring 46.

- Police found one dead body in Baghdad.

Nineveh

- Two roadside bombs targeted Iraqi army vehicles in two different neighborhoods in Mosul city injuring three soldiers and one civilian.

Diyala

- Around 1 p.m. a bomb exploded in a market in central Baquba city injuring three civilians.
