Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Saturday 6 September 2008

The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.
Baghdad
- Three mortar shells hit the outskirts of Dora neighborhood, around 10 a.m. injuring two civilians.
- A bomb planted in the car of the commander of minister of justice's body guards Lt. Col. Fasieh Ziboun exploded in Al Shaab neighborhood, injuring Ziboun around 4 p.m.
- Police found two dead bodies throughout Baghdad, one in Bunouk, one in Saidiyah.
Nineveh
- A suicide bomber detonated his car bomb in central Tal Afar, west of Mosul. The bomber started a fight with another driver after a car accident near a busy market in the town; as people gathered the bomber exploded his car bomb, killing six civilians and injuring 32. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m.
