The daily Iraq violence report is complied by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

- Police found (8)eight unidentified dead bodies in the following neighborhoods in Baghdad : (5) were found in west Baghdad( Karkh bank) ; 2 in Saidiyah , 2 in Amil and 1 in Bayaa. While (3) were found in east Baghdad ( Risafa bank); 1 in Sadr city , 1 in Sleikh and 1 in Shaab.

Kirkuk

- Around 12 .40 p.m., a roadside bomb targeted a police patrol at Tareeq Baghdad near Haja Sabria in Kirkuk (downtown the city) injuring five ( four of them are policemen while the fifth man is a civilian ).

Mosul

- Wednesday noon, clashes took place between gunmen and a battalion of the Iraqi army at Ikha’a neighborhood in Mosul , 14 gunmen were killed while one soldier was killed and four injured in that clashes.
