Foreign leaders, including Obama, appear to pose for selfie

McClatchy Washington BureauDecember 10, 2013

Cameras captured President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt apparently capturing a selfie of themselves today during the memorial service for the late Nelson Mandela.

The photo shows the trio laughing and smiling as Obama and Thorning-Schmidt hold the camera phone. First Lady Michelle Obama sits nearby, looking not nearly as amused.

In another series of photos from the VIP section, Obama is laughing with Thorning-Schmidt -- and then Michelle Obama changes places with him, putting herself between the leaders.
