Remembering a Christmas stolen by terrorists

Fort Worth Star-TelegramDecember 2, 2013

DALLAS — The Christmas display that Laura Bush had planned for the White House in 2001 is finally open to the public — at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas.

After the terrorist attacks that September, tours of the White House were temporarily suspended.

Few people got to see the “Home for the Holidays” display.
